The past few weeks have been interesting. I’ve realized that no matter how hard I work, working for myself is much more rewarding. We easily get sucked into having comfortable and secure career when the salary and benefits afford us a decent lifestyle. But, when you really look at the hard facts there will always be a ceiling cap.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for a while. I realized a longtime ago that working hard for yourself is mich more rewarding. There will always be people that will be jealous, envious, or people that just don’t want for you to succeed. In the bigger scheme of things, remember… you’re only going to get the things that you work hard for.
So, rememember to carve out sometime for yourself. In between building the life that I want to live, I eat good, laugh hard, and spend time with people that make me feel good. This week I spent time in New York’s Manhattan. I ate, had a spa day, saw Hamilton and a few other plays, and went to a jazz club. Let’s see what next week brings.
